The Federal High Court in Osogbo on Wednesday has affirmed Senator Ademola Adeleke as the rightful governorship candidate for People Democratic Party in forthcoming July 16 Osun gubernatorial election.
Prince Dotun Babayemi, a factional candidate of a group within the party had approached court to declare the governorship primary conducted by the group as authentic and affirm his candidature.
Delivering the judgement, the presiding judge, Justice Nathaniel Ayo-Emmanuel, said Dotun Babayemi did not participate in the primary election as he declared Adeleke as the authentic candidate.
