Gunmen have abducted a farm supervisor, Christopher Bakare, on the farm of a former governor of Oyo State, Adebayo Alao-Akala now deceased.
The farm worker was kidnapped on the farm named TDB farms located in Jabata in Surulere Local Government Area in Oyo State.
The kidnappers are also demanding N100m as ransom.
A close source to the Alao-Akala family confirmed the abduction to journalists on Tuesday.
Police spokesman Adewale Osifeso also confirmed the incident, adding that the matter was investigated.
Also, the chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ugu Ward 9, Orhionmwon Local Government Area of Edo State, Godwin Aigbogun, has been abducted.
He was returning from his farm in Ologbo-nugu on Monday evening when he was seized and taken away.
The police also confirmed the abduction.
