Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has fix Saturday 6th August, 2022, for its mop-up Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) for candidates who could not participate in the examinations during the period of the exercise for some verified reasons.

This is contained in JAMB’s weekly bulletin.
The decision according to the board is as a result of JAMB’s determination to give equal opportunity to all candidates who are desirous of tertiary education.

JAMB says after every UTME exercise it reviews various reports from officials in the field and video footages of the examination which is done by a team of experts, with a view to detecting activities associated with examination malpractice.

And after thorough analysis of the conduct of the examination it discovered that 10 centres spread across five states of the federation were found guilty.

This singular act the board noted made it necessary to cancel the results of all the candidates who sat for the examination in the affected 10 centres.
