Tunisian fifth seed Ons Jabeur will face world number one Iga Swiatek, who has won both of her two Grand Slam titles on French Open clay, for the US Open women’s singles title after both won their semi-finals on Thursday.
Jabeur, who lost in the Wimbledon final to Rybakina, reached consecutive Grand Slam finals by pulling a 6-1 6-3 victory against France’s Caroline Garcia.

Poland’s two-time major winner Swiatek, fought back from 4-2 down in the deciding set to move into her first US Open final with a 3-6 6-1 6-4 victory over Belarusian sixth seed Aryna Sabalenka in the second semi-final.
The final will be a match-up between the two most dominant players on the WTA Tour this year and takes place in New York on Saturday.
