Traditional rulers receive Mercedes GLE 450 and Toyota Highlander SUVs
In a gesture of goodwill and support for traditional institutions, the Executive Chairman Barr Moyosore Ogunlewe donated a Mercedes GLE 450 and two Toyota Highlander 2014 SUVs to royal fathers on Friday.
The beneficiaries include the Oloworo of Oworonsoki, Oba Babatunde Saliu, who received a Mercedes GLE 450, while the Ologudu of Ogudu, Oba Nojimu Akinwumi Fashola, and the Olojota of Ojota, Oba Jimoh Olawale-Cole, each received a Toyota Highlander 2014 model.
The ceremonial tape for the unveiling was cut by the Council Manager, Mr. Olalere Olanrewaju.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Olanrewaju emphasized the current administration’s commitment to upholding traditions and stated that Barr Moyosore Ogunlewe has been actively ensuring the welfare of traditional rulers.
“This act is a testament to the administration’s respect for our traditional leaders and its dedication to their support,” said Mr. Olanrewaju.
The donation highlights Ogunlewe’s focus on fostering a harmonious relationship between the government and traditional institutions, emphasizing his appreciation for cultural heritage and societal leadership.
