Following the successful conclusion of the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary elections in Lagos State, the Executive Chairman of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede, has extended heartfelt appreciation to prominent party leaders, stakeholders, and community members whose support was instrumental to the smooth conduct and eventual outcome of the primaries.
In his message of gratitude released by his media office, Otunba Oloyede began by acknowledging and expressing deep appreciation to His Excellency, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for the opportunity to serve and for his continued leadership that inspires confidence and commitment at all levels of governance.
He also singled out Ambassador Seyi Tinubu, describing him as “a true friend and unwavering supporter,” whose loyalty and belief in the vision of a progressive Oshodi-Isolo have remained steadfast.
The council chairman further thanked several critical stakeholders who played significant roles throughout the process, including Member of the House of Representatives (MHR), Dr. Bashir Dawodu, for his firm support and collaborative spirit; Lagos State House of Assembly Member, Otunba Olukayode Stephen Ogundipe, for his strong representation and advocacy; Commissioner for Housing, Hon. Fatai Akinderu, for his strategic backing; His brother and the National President of NURTW, Alhaji Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya (MC Oluomo), for his solidarity and grassroots mobilization.
He also expressed gratitude to the traditional rulers, led by HRM Oba Shakirudeen Adeshina Kuti, the Elewu of Ewu Kingdom, for their fatherly roles, blessings, and ongoing support of democratic governance.
Otunba Oloyede did not forget to thank the legislators, executive committee members, management team of the council, the LGA party chairman, Hon Saheed Animashaun, party structure at all levels, and the delegates, whose commitment to unity and loyalty to the APC ensured a seamless and credible primary election.
He said, “How does one begin to say ‘thank you’ when there are so many people to thank? I appreciate our father and president, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and his son, Amb. Seyi Tinubu and a host of others whose support has led to my emergence as the party flag bearer.”
He concluded by reaffirming his dedication to the progress and prosperity of Oshodi-Isolo, promising to justify the renewed confidence reposed in him by working even harder for the people.
