Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has announced that the state will host the 2025 edition of the Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards.

Sharing the news on X, the governor expressed excitement over the opportunity, noting that it reaffirms Lagos’ commitment to the creative industry both within the state and across Nigeria.

Sanwo-Olu described Nollywood as a vital pillar of Nigeria’s culture, economy, and global identity, while reiterating his administration’s resolve to continue supporting the growth of the creative sector.

He wrote, “I am pleased to share that Lagos will be hosting the 2025 edition of the Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards.
