Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu visited Ward E3, Premier Ward, Adeniji Adele, Lagos Island East LCDA, on Tuesday to revalidate his membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
During the visit, Sanwo-Olu described Lagos Island as a key part of his personal and political journey, noting that returning to the grassroots highlights the people-centred nature of politics.
He emphasised that governance thrives on collective effort and shared responsibility to improve communities.
The Governor engaged with neighbours and party members, urging APC members to participate actively in the ongoing membership revalidation exercise.
He also encouraged residents who have not yet joined the party to register.
Sanwo-Olu stressed that progress in Lagos depends on citizens taking ownership of the state’s future, adding that inclusive participation strengthens democracy and development.
