Nigerian inmates at AbaSamuel Prisons in Addis Ababa have expressed deep joy and appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu following the successful signing of the bilateral Prisoner Transfer Agreement between Nigeria and Ethiopia.
The event and agreement was seen through by the Minister of Foreign Affairs to Nigeria, Bianca Ojukwu.
The prisoners celebrated the development, which paves the way for their eventual repatriation to Nigeria to serve the remainder of their sentences closer to home.
They specifically thanked the Federal Government for its intervention and commitment to the welfare of Nigerians abroad.
