The Minister of State for Youth, Ayodele Olawande has congratulated Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State and the Kogi State Governor-elect, Usman Ododo, on their victories at the just concluded governorship elections.
The Independent National Electoral Commission declared Uzodimma and Ododo, the candidates of the All Progressives Congress winners of the governorship elections conducted in Imo and Kogi states respectively on Saturday.
Olawande described the victories of Uzodimma and Ododo as an expression of the confidence of the people of the two states in all the agendas and policies of the ruling party, APC.
The victories, he said, would enable Governor Uzodimma to consolidate his developmental projects in Imo State and Ododo to continue the pro-people programmes of Governor Yahaya Bello in Kogi State.
The Minister clarified it that the victory is also a result of the visionary leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his renewed hope mantra.
