The two day event that come to an end on Friday dives into two crucial pillars that will shape Lagos’s future with it’s theme “The Creative Economy” and “A Digital Lagos.”
Curated by the Eko Innovation Centre in collaboration with the Lagos State Government, AOT 5.0 created an unparalleled gathering of visionaries, Captains of industry, Tech experts and image makers in the society.
In her address, Minister for arts, culture and creative Economy, Hannatu Musa Musawa called on the Nigeria Youths to tap into wealth of creativity that is highly endowed in Nigeria.
Keynote speaker at the event Dr Bayo Adekanmbi the Founder and Lead Consultant, Data Science Nigeria based his call on the topic Data-Driven Creativity brought Generative Artificial Intelligence, he emphasized that with the latest advancement and potential impact of Artificial Intelligence, blockchain and other tech facility, it is high time for Nigerians to explore the transformative power of data in shaping the future of various industries.
The event is also another opportunity for those in creative industry to share their experience, where renowned Actor, Filmmaker, and Entrepreneur Kunle Afolayan and Music Producer and Musician Cobhams Asuquo charged the participants and the Nation at large to see the country creative space as a source of wealth for them.
Lagos State deputy Governor, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat reiterated that Lagos’s creative economy sector is a dynamic force that fuels the state’s economic growth, encompassing diverse industries such as film, music, fashion, design, and advertising. This ecosystem thrives on the brilliance and innovation of its workforce, playing a pivotal role in driving economic progress.
In a heartfelt vote of thanks Largos state commissioner for Innovation, Science and Technology called on the participants to embrace the future of technology and creativity.
