President Bola Tinubu has called on members of the All Progressives Congress to embrace unity and sportsmanship as the party commences its primary elections.
President Tinubu’s statement is ahead of the House of Representatives primaries scheduled for Friday 15th May, and the presidential primaries slated for May 25, 2026.
A statement signed personally by President Tinubu urges aspirants and party members to conduct themselves peacefully throughout the exercise.
He advises contestants who may not emerge victorious to accept the outcome of the primaries in good faith and support the winners in the interest of the party and the nation at large.
President Tinubu also emphasizes the importance of including women and youths in the electoral process, noting that their participations remain vital to strengthening democracy and party development.
The President wishes all aspirants success in the forthcoming APC primaries.
