The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested a Chinese woman for attempting to smuggle 31 kilograms of cannabis through the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.
She was arrested during routine screening operations at the airport.
According to the enforcement agency, the suspect is currently in NDLEA custody as investigations continue to uncover the full details of the smuggling attempt.
This latest interception highlights the NDLEA’s sustained efforts to curb drug trafficking through Nigeria’s airports.
