A socio-political grassroots campaign group, the PBAT Door-To-Door Movement, Southwest Zone, has kicked off its grassroots campaign in Lagos.
The group started the campaign with a massive rally walk in Ikeja to drum up support for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu, and to celebrate what it described as the achievements of his administration.
The 3,000-Man Posterity walk spanned from Allen Junction to Lagos Television, Agidingbi, and brought together delegations from Ekiti, Ondo, Osun, Oyo, and Ogun in a united show of solidarity for the President’s vision for a prosperous Nigeria.
Participants marched with banners, placards, and chants, highlighting the impact of the administration’s policies on the economy, security, and infrastructure development.
Leading the walk, the Southwest Zonal Coordinator, Adekunle Orisamoluwa, said the rally was aimed at showcasing the scorecard of President Tinubu and mobilising grassroots support ahead of 2027.
“Today, we stand together as a testament to our unwavering support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. His leadership has ushered in transformative changes that resonate with the aspirations of Nigerians.
“We are here to remind our fellow citizens of the progress we have made and to rally for his reelection. Posterity will judge this administration kindly.”
The event also served as a platform for community engagement. Traders, artisans, students, and community leaders shared testimonials on how federal initiatives under the President have positively affected their lives and businesses.
“The enthusiasm and solidarity displayed underscored the collective commitment of the Southwest region to continue supporting a leader who has demonstrated dedication to the nation’s growth”.
Orisamoluwa noted that the group remained steadfast in its mission to take the administration’s achievements to every household.
“We believe his continued leadership is essential for sustaining the momentum of progress and development in Nigeria,” he added.
The PBAT Door-to-Door pledged to intensify door-to-door advocacy across the Southwest to explain government policies and mobilise voters.
“We appreciate all participants, supporters, volunteers, and security agencies who made the rally walk a resounding success. Together, we will continue to champion the cause of a better Nigeria under the leadership of President Bola Tinubu”.
