Olopoeyan Popoola Dump PDP For NNPP, A chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), in Oyo state, Alhaji Adebisi Olopoeyan and a governorship aspirant of the Party, Engineer Popoola Olukayode Joshua (POJ) have dumped the party for New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP).
Broadcast Cable Network gathered that the duo and thousands of their supporters officially joined NNPP on Monday.
Olopoeyan alongside Popoola and their supporters announced their entry into NNPP at an event held in the Bashorun area of Ibadan where the membership cards were issued to them.
The political gladiators joined the party ahead of the 2023 general elections in the state.
It could be recalled that Olopoeyan had a few weeks ago, announced his resignation from PDP as a result of an unresolved disagreement between him and the governor of the state, Engineer Seyi Makinde.

Olopoeyan alongside Popoola have been presented membership cards of NNPP, the development which signified their official entry into the party.
He has presented the membership card of NNPP by the Ward 1, Ibadan North East local government Chairman, Mr Ololaja Alao while the Chairman of NNPP in Ward 10, Ibadan North East local government area, Mr Owoseni Akeem presented the membership card of NNPP to Popoola.
Olopoeyan and Popoola said that thousands of their supporters across the 33 local government areas in the state have also joined the party.
