The Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission has announced that the local government elections in the state will hold on November 16, 2024.
The Chairman of OGSIEC, Babatunde Osibodu, made this known in a statement signed by him and released on Tuesday.
The statement said: “Thursday, August 8, 2024, is scheduled for the release of guidelines for the conduct of the elections and stakeholders meeting while campaigns by the political parties begin on Friday, August 9.
“The political parties are also scheduled to hold their party primaries between Monday, August 26 to Monday, September 9, 2024”.
