Troops of the Nigerian Army under Operation TIGER PAW II have rescued kidnapped victims and intercepted suspected terrorist logistics operations in Kogi State.
According to the Army, troops of 12 Brigade rescued the remaining victims abducted from Daarul-Kitab Islamic Orphanage in the Agbaja Forest area of Lokoja Local Government Area on May 6, 2026.
The rescued victims, comprising five boys, two girls, and two women, were taken to the brigade medical facility for treatment.
In a separate operation along the Obajana-Lokoja road, troops also arrested a suspected terrorist ammunition courier identified as Yahaya Umar.
The Army said the operations reflect ongoing efforts to combat insecurity and disrupt criminal activities in the region.
