The incumbent Local Government chairman of Kosofe Local Government Area of Lagos State, Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe has secured a second term ticket after winning the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election.

The primary election took place on Saturday at the party’s secretariat on Acme Road, Ikeja.

Ogunlewe won the poll unopposed after other candidate withdrew from the race to support him.

Reacting to his victory at the Primary Election, Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe made it known that he is ready to make more impact to every sector in Kosofe Local Government as reward for hard work is more work.

He also commended the process adopted by the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State for the process put in place for all the candidates.
“We appreciate the leadership of our party and the Electoral Committee for ensuring the process of primaries remains transparent,” he said.

 

It could be noted that Ogunlewe’s dedication to infrastructure development and citizen welfare within the local government area contributed to his success rate at the primary Election.

Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC) has fixed July 12 for the council poll in the state.

The elections will be held across Lagos’ 20 LGAs and 37 Local council development areas (LCDAs).
