Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has inspected the newly constructed Tolu Schools Complex as part of preparations for its upcoming commissioning.
The governor said the facility brings together 36 schools across primary, junior, and senior secondary levels within a single campus designed to serve more than 20,000 students.
Located on about 11.7 hectares of land, the complex is described as one of the largest school communities on the continent, featuring modern classrooms as well as sports facilities such as football fields and basketball courts.
Sanwo-Olu noted that the project reflects the state government’s commitment to expanding access to quality education and providing students with improved learning environments.
According to him, the development aligns with the administration’s broader vision to strengthen the education sector and ensure that children across Lagos have the facilities needed to succeed academically.
The governor also appreciated residents and students who welcomed him during the inspection visit, assuring them that the state government remains committed to delivering projects that improve education and community development.
