The All Progressives Congress house of Representatives for Eti Osa Federal Constituency in Lagos, Prince Oyekanmi Elegushi has described the attack on worshippers at St. Francis Catholic Church, Owo, Ondo State, which left scores dead, as barbaric and condemnable.
In a statement on his verified Instagram page, Oyekanmi sympathised with the family of victims of the Owo Church attack and condoles with the governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu.
“My sincere condolence to the good people of Owo, in Ondo state, I also wish to categorically condemned the attack as a barbaric which the perpetrators should not go unpunished”
He therefore called on all the security agencies across the country to step up their security architecture in the faith against insecurities across the nation.
“Let me use this opportunity to charge the security agencies to fish out all the perpetrators of this dastardly act and ensure that they are brought to book and face the full weight of the law”.
